My first album…. yay! Here is the some of the art. Released in hardcopy (on wonkachild.com) and digitally on wonkachild.com/music (sept. 29th – with a special video download!) – will be released digitally through iTunes, Amazon, Napster, etc Oct. 10th.

“The first studio album from the highly energetic, genre-bending Pop/Rock/Funk/Soul artist, Wonkachild. The album showcases a wide array of styles, fusing the flare of live music, Funk, Doo Wop, R&B, 50’s Rock, and Hip-Hop. ‘URKEL’ delivers a slight randomness that doesn’t throw off a listener, but gives a listener a fresh unexpected and unpredictable musical experience similar (but separate) to the likes of Prince, Andre 300, James Brown, and The Fresh Prince. However, underneath the classic dance rhythms and contemporary hip-hopesque 808s, lies a fresh lyrical wordplay infused with the subliminal message of “confident cool.”
A song about staying ORIGINAL not matter how strange, off, or NERDY you may be. This remix is featuring a verse from Wakil (The EXTREMELY talented protege of, Grammy Award Winning Songwriter/Producer, Brian “BK” Kennedy [J. Hudson, Rihanna]) Be on the look out for Wakil and what he’ll be bringing. He and I have some ideas up our sleeve and you will NOT want to miss it.

I am very excited to finally launch my site for you all. This project has been in the works for quite some time, and like most dreams, it took tons of patient focusing toward a happy goal. I finally finished my second musical project (which is also my OFFICIAL music demo that is now being pushed to the record labels!!!). I have a lot of faith in this project and feel it in my gut that finally the dream will see the light. Man….
As this site is mostly dedicated to my music, don’t think that I’ll just stop there!! There are going to be videos, interviews, random words of wisdom, and everything else to record my musical journey.
It has only just begun and now it’s time to let loose!!!!!!! The VIDEO above was me ripping the dance floor. This was so much fun. I had the chance to perform with a good friend of mine at a local dance function in my home town.
